As early as 2nd century BC there already was a route between Asia and Europe for exchage of goods and communication of ideas. The road was made literally by the steps of traders and nomads in wild, boundless desert and wastelands, Today the exact location of this route is not clear but we can draw and outline of this ancient route on he basis of archaeological research. 
The Silk Road connects the east(starts from China) and the west(ends with Italy) which shaped a long long times ago, the Silk Road as known to the world today connects three continents of Asia, Europe and Africa runs through China, Afghanistan, India, Iran, Iraq, Syria,Turkey and finally stops at Rome in Italy. It has witnessed bustling trader, devoted religious believers and carefree tourists. During chaotic years of it's history, some sections of the Silk Road were full of soldiers and refugees. Frequent trade and cultural exchange made this great route a common historic legacy for many countries and nations and brought prosperity to the people in the regions. |
